Barbershop Etiquette
Whether your hair is recently cleaned by yourself or at Silk Barbers, it’s a prerequisite for our barbers to work with clean and product-free hair, for three reasons: (1) Working with clean hair provides the BEST haircut result, (2) product in hair can build up in barbering tools and cause long term damage, and (3) it is an OH&S expectation for barbers to work with fresh hair, just as you would visit your dentist with a fresh mouth.


We accept cash and Eftpos. All payments must be processed on the day and place of service. A surcharge of 1.9% applies to all Eftpos transactions.

Our service and product prices are based on careful and on-going analysis of the fair market value. Please respect our time, skills, and labour. Our prices are not negotiable.

We may offer discount deals from time to time. All discounts cannot be used in conjunction with each other.


Sunday and Public Holiday Service Fee
A service fee of $5 is added for bookings on Sundays and public holidays. Please understand that this is because our team members are entitled to higher wages on Sundays and public holidays.


Lateness, No Show, & Cancellation Policy
Our time is valuable and so is yours. If you're late for your appointment, you lose that time. If you don't show, or if you provide less than 24 hours notice to cancel your appointment, you'll still be charged in full. In turn, we promise to honour our appointments and be on time as well.

Please notify us via text or phone call if you are running late, and we'll try our best to offer your allotted time; however, if our schedule is too full for the day, we may require part or all of your services to be rescheduled. Please understand that common unexplained no shows can affect our business, which gives us the right to refuse future services. In the case that your chosen barber is too ill to follow through with bookings, we'll notify you by email, phone call and/or text message as soon as possible, and your booking will be rescheduled.


Online Store - Shipping & Returns
We ship Australia-wide ($15 AUD P&H) and internationally ($25-95 AUD P&H). Please make careful purchase decisions as there is a strict no-return and no-refund policy. Orders are dispatched via an Australia Post Express Parcel. Please allow 3 to 10 working days for your box arrival. All parcels require a signature on delivery. If you are not there to sign for your parcel, Australia Post (or the post service within your country) should issue a collection slip for you to locate your parcel at the closest Post centre. A tracking number will be sent to you via email upon dispatch so that you can track the delivery of your goods. For all product enquiries, please email info@silkbarbers.com.au/ SILK Barbers is not responsible for any damages due to poor postage and handling, or any inappropriate use of products by the customer.
